PROSPECT, PART 2 INCOMING…. 🧑🏼‍🎓

Let’s breakdown each week. As we learnt from the last post, the week’s % of 1 REP MAX, REP RANGE and working time will be dictated by the PHASE. 
 
Regardless of the PHASE, these stay consistent, week in, week out. 

1. EVERY WEEK WE DO OUR MAIN LIFTS, DEAD, SQUAT AND BENCH. 
For PERFORM - Mon: DEADLIFT Wed: SQUAT Fri: BENCH
For MOVE - Mon: DEADLIFT Wed: BENCH Fri: SQUAT

2. We do an AEROBIC and ANAEROBIC conditioning session each week. This is called SPRINT & ENGINE. These alternate on TUESDAY and THURSDAYS. Think higher intensity, higher rest SPRINT. Lower intensity, longer duration ENGINE. 

3. Saturday is always TEAM SWEAT bringing our community together. 

We pride ourselves on doing the basics, day in, day out and our programming is at the core of everything we stand for 🏆

PROSPECT, THE END OF THE YEAR IS NEAR… 

As we look towards 2025 this is the perfect opportunity to recap the yearly REVL calendar 📅 for our existing members and potential future members, let’s simplify what 12 months at REVL looks like. 

Every year is broken down into FOUR TRAINING BLOCKS. 
Think of these as cycles. Four cycles to achieve training goals, increase strength and cardiovascular capacity. HOW? 

Each block is further broken down into PHASES: they are as follows. 

VOLUME PHASE: 3weeks
BUILD PHASE: 3weeks
DELOAD PHASE: 1 week
PEAK PHASE: 3 weeks 
REBUILD WEEKS: 3 weeks 

Each phase is a period of strength and conditioning protocols to ensure that results are scientifically achieved. 

On a weekly level we train strength 50% of the time and conditioning 50%. Each WEEK the PHASE will dictate the PURPOSE and INTENTION of the class.

The November weekend plans: 📆
2/3rd 🏃 2 x Half Iron Mans
9/10th 🏃 2 x Marathons 
15/16/17th 🏃 Goggins at REVL PROSPECT
23/24th 🏃 24 hours straight of running 
30th 🏃 100kms 

GOGGINS CHALLENGE: 6.4km every 4 hours for 48 hours. The start and finish point is at REVL Prospect. Each run start time will be built into the app. Please come run or walk 1 or 2 or all 12 laps with the boys. There will be ice baths by the incredible @plungebypratt, tunes and heaps of vibes so please feel free to come down and support the boys on this epic mission.
