SWEAT ENGINE BASELINE with @_jackhughes_ 🔥

Jacko started with us when we first opened our doors 14 weeks ago! He was thrown into the deep end with our spicy Lumberjack Session. 

Last time Jack tested, he did white scale & got capped without finishing. This time around; Jacko went UP to Grey scale AND finished in 32:53 💥

A few words from the man himself: 
“Joining REVL has been the best decision I’ve made for my health. I’m very time poor with work and a young family so it’s great to be able to come to REVL and have high quality workouts and training blocks pre planned to get the most out of my training. I was pretty nervous about starting cause I knew I was really unfit but the coaches and whole community have been so supportive and I’m absolutely stoked with the results I’ve seen so far!”

MOVEMBER MARATHON 🖤

It was great to raise awareness for men’s mental health yesterday as the rate of male suicide is incredibly high! We want all men to feel comfortable in prioritising their mental health & it starts within our community! 

Yesterday some of the crew completed a Movember Marathon on the ergs (double on the bike erg). We had four teams take on this challenge and they absolutely smashed it! 3(+) hours on the ergs as we mostly had teams of 4. To top it off, one crazy team wanted to challenge themselves further and complete 2500cals (100+ kms) on the echo bike 🤯🤯 

We appreciate all the men at REVL Loganholme and we want you all to know that we are here to support you in whatever it is. Please don’t be afraid to reach out or have a chat when you need it.

Now that our members are fresh and ready to go after this week’s de-load, we now head into our PEAK phase of training.

The peak phase is all about our members showcasing their progressions throughout the block of training. In our strength based sessions, we continue to reduce reps and increase the intensity through load. While in our sweat sessions, we will be dialling in and getting very specific ahead of our BASELINE testing.

Baseline testing will include a Bench Press, Deadlift, Back/Front Squat, as well as some other series that have been created by REVL.

Time to rip in and see your hard work paid off! 💥
