Rebuild Phase during the 13-Week block - Weeks 11, 12 and 13

Following Baseline is the REBUILD PHASE, throughout this phase the stimulus of sessions transition from heavy loads and larger rest periods back to volume across Move & Perform over 3-weeks. This gives the body the necessary time to adjust to the change in stimulus.

Peak Phase during the 13-Week Block - Weeks 8, 9 and 10

The PEAK PHASE is all about showcasing your progression throughout the Block and highlighting your efforts and consistency. In our Strength Based Programs, we continue to reduce reps and increase intensity through load, while our Sweat programs dial in and get super specific ahead of our BASELINE measures.

This 3-Week Peak Phase is the home of our Sweat BASELINE in Week 9 (Tuesday/Thursday) and Strength BASELINE in Week 10 (Monday/Wednesday/Friday). These sessions allow us to set new markers for the upcoming Block and to see how far we’ve come from the previous block.

With BASELINE measures spread over 2 weeks, individual workload can be managed more effectively, resulting in a positive impact on performance and recovery.

All Move, Perform and Sweat BASELINE sessions remain the same across all 4 blocks of the year.

Deload Phase during the 13-Week Block - Week 7

Hello DELOAD PHASE! Why deload...? At REVL we want you to perform at your best which is why its important to break up your training program into specific blocks!

Each block has a goal and provides the body with time to progressively overload and adequate time to recover, often referred to as a taper or deload period. 

Deload is one of the most important parts of the REVL program, giving the body time to recover after the previous weeks of non-stop hard work. That being said, Deload is not a time to completely take your foot off the gas...Instead, this is the time when we manipulate intensity and volume throughout our sessions so that you can avoid injury and perform at your best.

Build Phase during the 13-Week Block - Weeks 4, 5 and 6

As we enter the BUILD phase you can expect the weights and rest periods to increase and the reps to decrease. This PHASE focuses on building muscular strength. The transition from our Volume to Build Phase uses progressive-overload by gradually increasing the weight from week to week, ensuring we minimise risk while the loads continue to increase.

Just remember that percentages for the BUILD PHASE are completely up to YOU and are based off YOUR previous 1RM testing… This means you have a goal to work towards with each training block, exciting right?!

With each block being broken into different phases it allows you to continuously stay engaged in your health and fitness goals, and see progression!

Volume Phase during the 13-Week Block - Weeks 1, 2 and 3

The REVL Program is designed with longevity in mind, which is why the 3-week Volume Phase lays the foundation for progression.

This PHASE focuses on hypertrophy and muscle definition... AKA building lean muscle mass! High reps with low weight allow technique refinement to reduce injury risk, and muscular endurance development to unlock more reps before succumbing to fatigue.
